I had a dream in November of 2019 that I was bitten by a small brown snake with white spots. I had just started keeping a journal of all my dreams and mystical experiences. In this dream, I was helping my father work on a vehicle in our yard. The scene was a combination of two places where I grew up. One was the house from one point in time but on land from another. I don’t think Those details are relevant though. I’ve learned that not all details in dreams matter
So, I was working on a car and I had to reach into the back seat for something. As I did, a snake bit me. It had been hiding in the crevice of the seat and when I reached my hand into the back seat, it poked it’s head out and bit me. I sensed in the dream that the snake was poisonous, but I wasn’t afraid. Someone in the dream (a family member) I believe, wanted to call the paramedics. However, after a short period of time, we realized that I would be okay. The dream ended at the point where we decided not to call the paramedics and I seemed fine.
Reflecting on the Dream
The following morning as I contemplated the dream, I thought the snake represented trust, knowledge, and wisdom. Referencing the story of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden and Eve encountering the serpent then eating from the tree of good and evil.
I did do some research into possible symbolism for snakes in dreams. Here are the ones I found that made the most sense. However, I did not receive a clear revelation so I do not know why I was bitten by a snake.

*When I was younger, I had a recurring dream for years that I was bitten by a vampire. The dream happened every year around Valentines Day for many years. What is it about being bitten?
