I dreamt about being at an airport tarmac last night. This dream took place on 12/30/19. A friend and I were on the tarmac running to catch a flight. We reached a point where we started to scale a wall made of meshed rope, like netting. It should be noted that as we were climbing, I remember questioning the meaning of the dream. That happens a lot now, being aware within a dream. In most dreams, I become aware that I am having a dream. Then, I start to question the meaning of the dream and try finding the symbolism, all while I am asleep.
Okay, back to the dream. There was a narrow entrance at the top of this netting we were climbing. It led to what I think may have been the cargo hold of a plane. While climbing I realized we were going about things the hard way. Then I noticed a large winding ramp off to our left that led to the terminal. So, we stopped, let do, and dropped to the airport tarmac below and started running.
We ran across the airport tarmac and up the winding ramp to the terminal. We got into the terminal and up to the counter and the dream ended.
Reflecting on the Dream
When I awoke from the dream, I did not receive any type of revelation. At least, not at that time. However, as I was copying the notes about the dream from my journal, I received a clear thought. The dream was telling me that we often do things the hard way. There is an easier way to do things, to get to where we want to go in life. The dream did not reference imagination. However, God is within each of us, and according to Neville, he is our wonderful human imagination. If you find that a difficult concept to grasp, I understand. However, given my experiences, I have no doubt.
