The dungeon is not a place I ever thought I’d find myself in. However, on the night of January 10, 2020, I was in a dream. There were several different scenes to the dream, and in the first one, I was driving. I don’t recall the details, only that I was driving somewhere. The second scene involved something very personal, so I will not divulge the details. However, I intuitively knew that the significance was not to react to the 3D world (outer reality). In the next scene, the details were not clear, but when I woke up and tried to remember the dream, the word “steel” came to mind.
Finally, in the last scene, I found myself thrown into the dungeon. I stumbled a bit and heard the large, heavy door seal shut behind me and lock. As I turned around and walked towards the door, I looked to my right. There I saw a muscular, balding man standing next to a steel table. He was shirtless and wore a rubber apron while sharpening knives.
Then I noticed that large pieces of skinned flesh and bone were scattered on the floor of the dungeon around him. I sensed that some of the flesh was animal, lions specifically, and the rest was human. As I looked inquisitively, the man looked at me and said, “It’s gruesome.”
The Significance of Iron
After I woke up and contemplated the dream, I thought perhaps that the symbolism referred to dying and dying to our former selves. However, as I sat down to edit this dream for my blog, I realized that the word steel and the man sharpening the knives are significant.
In Proverbs 27:17, it states, “Iron sharpens iron, So one man sharpens another. “ I am editing this post on September 20, 2020. The truth is, up until about a month ago, I would not have understood the meaning of this verse. However, now I understand that it means by thinking lovingly on behalf of others, we lift them and, thus, fulfill our purpose. The truth of that purpose is written throughout the bible as symbolism. I can only attest to that because scripture is slowly being revealed to me. I know it sounds a little crazy, but it is something I am experiencing.
