On the night of November 20, 2020, as I slept, I felt/heard a familiar thumping in my head on my ride side as usual. But I also felt something on my left side. I can’t pinpoint where, but it sounded like someone was chiseling away at something inside my head. I thought to myself as I was dreaming, “that’s odd, that’s new; that’s not how I’m supposed to come out of my skull.”
Then, within the dream, I bumped into something a couple of times, and my body vibrated (my shoulder, my elbow, etc.). Then I found myself in a room observing a woman cut two squares with a cutting machine. She stacked two squares on top of each other and turned the piece around to cut each side to make them even. When she got to the fourth side, she cut it again but made a slight mistake. She separated them, but now they looked like strips instead of squares. One of the stacks of paper strips was curved and did not match the other stack at all. Then I saw the face of another girl, younger, sitting at a table. The paper was for her to use to play a game. I had a sense that something may have been wrong with the girl (mentally).
In the next dream, I was in a home, and I was there for what looked like a holiday dinner. There was music playing, and someone mentioned that we needed a few more items from the store. When I offered to go, someone handed me a list on two pieces of paper. Then someone else said, “Hey, these ingredients are the words to this song.” Then I woke up (it was 2:40 am).
I contemplated writing the dreams down but went back to sleep instead. Then I was woken up by the sound of a bell at 5:30 am, and when I opened my eyes, I saw a pattern all over the walls. It was a black pattern, just like the few times it’s happened before. The pattern was geometric in shape, but it didn’t last long, so I cannot say for sure. Then I thought about the dreams from the night and tried to remember what I was dreaming about right before I woke up. I kept thinking of a dream I had previously. I recall being on the back loading dock at a grocery store for an unknown reason in that dream.
Contemplating the Significance
As I contemplated the significance of the dreams, I thought that the list on the pieces of paper reminded me of two stone tablets: like the Ten Commandments (The Law). The other two pieces of paper were yellow (which I didn’t mention previously), representing being split in two. I fell back asleep for two more hours, but I don’t recall what else I dreamt. Although I have this distinct feeling, a lot was going on, and it felt as though I was half asleep the entire night, half awake. I should also note that when I woke up the second time, I felt a very distinct feeling in the center of my forehead. I’ve felt it before, it’s not a feeling like a headache, but it’s a sensation like pressure and an expansion simultaneously. It’s very distinct. I laid there in bed contemplating the feeling, knowing its significance, and wasn’t fearful at all.
