The trailer and the lions are the third dreams I’ve had so far involving lions. If you’re interested, you can read about the first and second lion dreams. Okay, so I did not write the date down for this particular dream, but in the dream, I was inside of the trailer I lived in when I was about 10 years old. Only, in the dream, I was an adult.
There were two full-grown male lions inside the trailer with me. Outside were groups of people walking around the trailer and peering into the windows. It was like being in a cage at the zoo. At some point, two police officers showed up (one male and one female). In a split second, I was outside along with both lions. Without being provoked, the male police officer flicked his tie into one of the lions' faces. The lion started to lunge toward the officer, and mid-lunge, I commanded the lion to stop. I either said “stop” or “no,” and in mid-air, the lion stopped.
Dream Significance
I don’t know the significance of the dream. When I woke up the following morning, I thought about Judah's Lion and then looked up the meaning of the lion in scripture. I found Jesus' resurrection, authority, strength, and dominance. Then in Revelation 5:5, I found, “And one of the elders said unto me, weep not: behold the lion of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.”
I could try to force figuring out what the dream means. There is symbolism for sure, especially given that this is the third of three lion dreams I’ve had. As I sit here on Jul 15, 2020, creating this into a blog post, I can say that the meanings of dreams have started to come to me more often. They come naturally and without putting too much thought into them. So, since that hasn’t happened with this particular dream, I won’t force it. I am just grateful, as I’ve said many times, for the experiences as they come.
