Searching for Ezekiel

I woke up at 2 am on October 30, thinking about a dream I had about searching for Ezekiel.  As I thought about it, I started to recall another dream or at least parts of it from what may have been months ago.  I also started thinking about two of the dreams I’d had from the past few nights that, at the time, I could not remember in detail. Soon I fell back asleep and woke up again at about 4 am.  I looked at the clock and went back to sleep.

Finally, at 6 am, I was awakened by the sound of a doorbell and a loud one.  Given that this wasn’t the first time I asked, “why did you wake me up?”  I’m not mad about it; I’ve been sleeping until 7:30 am for the past two weeks and want to get back into having the time to script and write down my dreams first thing in the morning (5-6 am).  So, let’s start with the dream I had three nights ago (Oct. 27).

The Monastery

I was in a monastery in the first dream (or scene).  I was in a room, and I think I was attempting to sing.  However, I did not sound great and felt like I had failed.  So, the gentleman in the room said, “you did not fail; don’t you know that you can do anything? You have all of the power, no go.” Then I left the room and walked down the hallway.  It felt as though I were looking for someone, though.  Then in the next scene, a man I am in love with leaned in close to me and whispered, “I love you.” It felt like a beautiful, extraordinary moment.  Then, in the next scene, we sit somewhere, and he looks at me and says, “I hate you.” Then the scene switched, and I was sitting in a room with my son’s stepmother and asking her why people hate me, why this man first said, I love you, then I hate you.  She said, “well, what do you believe? You can change it.”

Going on a Hike

The following night I was with a small child, and we went on a hiking adventure.  We went into a campground and were looking for someone specific.  As I told the boy, “he isn’t here,” I noticed he was standing on the edge of a mountain.  We were on a mountain.  As I started to tell him to be careful, he looked down and fell off.

Searching for Ezekiel

I kept thinking about these dreams then a scene from a previous dream in which I was driving along a long road out in the country came to mind.  It’s as if the dreams are all linked or partially linked somehow.  I was in an underground cave or building with stone walls in last night’s dream.  I was either with someone named Ezekiel or looking for someone named Ezekiel. A guide told me I had to go to Mt. Sinai as we walked up a stone staircase and through a narrow opening.

I thought, “I’ve already been to Mt. Sinai.” I should mention that I heard/felt the whooshing sound again and knew I was dreaming.  The sound is standard now, just a constant whooshing sound in my head as I sleep.  It’s been happening for, I’d say, almost two years now. Interestingly, before I went to bed, I wrote in my journal (because I heard within) that I was chosen and sent to speak the truth of the word of God, which is what Ezekiel was called to do. As we are chosen one by one and awakened, we are then sent. So, the dream was not about searching for Ezekiel but about the state of consciousness personified as Ezekiel. That is the spiritual meaning of Ezekiel.

I share the mystical symbolism found within scripture as it comes to me through Revelation. I will be sharing more about Ezekiel in the bible. If you want to understand more about dreams and record your own to find the symbolism and patterns, check out the digital dream journals I currently have available for purchase and download.
