In this post, I am going to talk about verse twenty-two in the Gospel of Thomas. The verse states: Jesus saw infants being suckled. He said to his disciples, “These infants being suckled are like those who enter the kingdom.” They said to him, “Shall we then, as children enter the kingdom?” Jesus said to them, “When you make the two one, and when you make the inside like the outside and the outside like the inside, and the above like the below, and when you make the male and the female one and the same, so that the male not to be male nor the female; and when you fashion eyes in the place of an eye, and a hand in place of a hand, and a foot in place of a foot, and a likeness in place of a likeness; then will you enter the kingdom.”
When we go within, be like little children and believe that all things are possible. The kingdom of heaven is within man. Little children aren’t conditioned by the world so as you go within and commune with yourself, you shed the conditioning of the world. Make the inside like the outside and vice versa but imagining what you would like to be in this world. Everything is a reflection so what you experience is a direct reflection of what you are doing internally, within your imagination and inner conversations.
The below is the body of man, the above is the subconscious, the imagination (God). The male and female are the conscious and subconscious, the seed of desire and fertilizing of the seed in imagination. Every tree bears fruit of its own kind. So, when you begin to produce lovely fruit; when you begin to act as God acts then you enter into the kingdom of heaven. Which again, is on the inside and not a place in the sky. You know who you truly are.
