The hand of GOD and the dove. This vision was beautiful. I did not write down the date but as I was lying in bed one night, I closed my eyes and saw it. There was an exceptionally large hand. It was so large in fact that it took up almost the entire space of my mind’s eye. The hand was holding a small white bird. I at once knew the vision was significant.
Neville talks about a series of experiences in several of his lectures. One of which is “Power and Wisdom”. This is what he says:
“The first reunion is God's birth from within. The second is the discovery of his son, David. This is followed by the third mighty reunion when his spiritual body is split in two and God ascends like a spiral of lightening into heaven. And finally, the fourth act appears, as the Holy Spirit embodies the form of a dove to clothe him - as you - with power from on high.”
The dove is also mentioned in scripture. You can find the dove or turtledove mentioned in many books of the bible. Perhaps the most well-known Bible verse is the one found in Matthew 3:16-17. That verse is as follows:
The moment Jesus came up out of the baptismal waters, the skies opened up and he saw God’s Spirit—it looked like a dove—descending and landing on him. And along with the Spirit, a voice: “This is my Son, chosen and marked by my love, delight of my life.”
Reflecting on the Experience
The vision of the hand of God and the dove was unmistakeable. Then, without giving it any thought, I automatically knew that the vision was an adumbration. An adumbration of an event I will experience when God fully awakes in me. It is an experience we will all have as God calls us one-by-one.
